Hey! I’m Karen Burton, a PADI and SSI instructor who has been diving since 2003 🤿. I’ve logged over 3,000 dives and had the privilege of teaching more than 250 students here in Komodo. I love helping people discover the underwater world, build confidence, and experience the magic of breathing underwater for the first time 🌊. Safety is always my top priority, but I also believe diving should be fun, relaxed, and full of adventure. I’m a huge marine life lover, and my favorite encounters are with Napoleon wrasses and octopuses 🐙🐟 — two of the most fascinating creatures on the reef. When I’m not underwater, I enjoy traveling, meeting people from all over the world, and sharing the ocean with others ✈️🌍. For me, diving isn’t just a job — it’s a passion and a way to connect people with the beauty of the sea. 💙
